How are the embedded emissions of imported electricity determined?
Imported electricity is not valued with default values per good. Its embedded emissions are worked out from the emission factor of the grid in the country of origin, in tonnes of CO₂e per MWh, set out in Annex III of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2621.
